What is Westpac Altitude?
Westpac Altitude is a loyalty program for Westpac customers. Every time you charge credit purchases to your Altitude card, Altitude points are accrued and can later be redeemed for a wide range of Rewards including flights, shopping vouchers and Westpac financial products and services.
How can I become a Westpac Altitude Cardholder?
If you are not a Westpac Altitude Cardholder and would like to become one, simply click here to link to the Westpac website where you can apply for the Westpac Altitude Card online. Alternatively, you can pick up an application form at any Westpac branch.
How can I check my Altitude points balance?
How long are my Reward Points valid for?
Points do not expire while you are a cardholder. If you cease to be an Altitude cardholder, your points will expire 90 days after the date you close your Altitude account. This period was increased from 45 days in August 2009.
Which purchases are ineligible for Earning Points?
Points relating to the use of the card will be awarded for credit purchases only. Transactions defined as "cash advances" will be excluded from earning Points – these include:
Also purchases that are made after you exceed the Points cap are excluded from earning Points until the start of your next statement cycle.
As a new member of Westpac Altitude I am having problems activating my account. I get the message: "Your details could not be found in our database. Make sure you've entered your Altitude card number." What do I need to do?
This message means we may not have received your account details from Westpac. When you try to activate your account the system doesn't recognise your details. If you have only recently received your card from the bank, it can be six to seven weeks before your account details are available in our system. If you have had your card for more than 8 weeks and you are experiencing difficulties activating your account, please phone the Rewards Centre on 1300 887 820.
Can I have more than one email address associated with my account?
For each individual Altitude account, there can be only ONE email address that will activate your account on the Altitude website. This provides a unique identifier for security.
